My mix of the brilliant Emma-Kate Matthews' tune Go With You drops today. It's the third in a series of reimagined versions of her 2020 EP Far Flung, out on Algebra Records. Other contributors to turn in edits include Casually Here, Sunplus, Heavenly Stems and Julia Sophie.
My remix teases a slightly more club-ready sound out of the original. It also indicates the direction i find myself taking in the studio with the Dampé project. A bit harder and a bit darker, with growling Vermonas and plenty of dub/subby frequencies to worry endlessly about while mixing.
Gassed to be involved with such a rich, contemplative and deep project. EKM joins me in the guest slot for my Rinse show later this month!
